Locations

We have decided to Film part of our music video at Daisy Nook Country Park, as it’s quite an open area with plenty of places to film within it. As we are going to film during the day and not as weekend the Daisy Nook should be quite empty apart from a few people going for a stroll, dog walkers or people fishing as it has a huge lake. This will be better for us as we will be able to film without a lot of interruptions

It is a huge park with a lot of open spaces and therefore has plenty of different areas and locations for us to film different parts of our video there. This location fits well with our song choice compared to if we would have decided to use a busy location like Manchester city centre.

Daisy Nook is located in the end of Failsworth and towards
Ashton-Under-lyne. It is close to another Location, which we are planning to film parts of our video at, called ‘Failsworth road’.

Another Location choice is ‘Failsworth Road’ which is near to Daisy nook and located in Failsworth. It is a long road with not much but a field on the side of it. It has no houses along it until you get to the top of it and at the bottom. The road is surrounded by trees and fields on either side however it isn’t really busy or anything, you don't get many cars coming up and down it.
This is an ideal location as it will be quite empty and seems lonely, which would match the theme of the song. As we will be filming during the day, it should'nt be to busy so we will be able to get our filming done.

Both of our main locations are close together in Failsworth which is quite handy as two of our group members live here so the area is very familiar for us. As both locations are close we would be able to film at both locations in the same day without a lot of travelling and running out of time. We will switch between these locations within our video with cuts from one to another.
